The journey of a thousand stories begins with a single plot. The plot of this production house began with three minds coming together to create a madness or rather ‘Dhunki’ called November Films.

Anish Shah and Jay Shah were batchmates while studying engineering in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Jay forayed into outsourcing business and later founded a solar energy company. Anish, an Engineer with a creative bent of mind, stumbled upon filmmaking while working on a short film.

It was the time when the Gujarati film industry needed a fresh approach. It was at this time that Anish bagged an opportunity to write "Kevi Rite Jaish", a film that reinvented the Gujarati Film Industry.

Backed with experience in filmmaking, Anish decided to launch his own production house and shared this idea with Jay. Located far off in Hyderabad, Kuldip Patel hails from a humble background in Vijapur, completed his IIT and later joined Microsoft in Hyderabad.

The trio faced multiple obstacles right from sourcing funds, bringing varied talent together, to investing their own money - To make their first film, "Dhunki" that went on to become a smash hit.

The trio collaborated in a way that Anish directs, Kuldip produces and Jay distributes. Nevertheless, the roles aren't well-defined for the triumvirate and they step in to play varied roles, as and when required.

Dhunki, starring Pratik Gandhi, Deeksha Joshi, Vishal Shah and Kaushambi Bhatt established November Films as a force to reckon with, infusing aspiration for the trio to explore new terrains of filmmaking with new stories across the silver screen spectrum which isn't just indie at heart, but also commercial to the core.
